DESCRIPTION
WET-3110 is a multifunctional liquid alkaline cleaner for cleaning new HVAC hydronic systems. It is a liquid blend of phosphate, solvent, dispersant, and corrosion inhibitor.

BENEFITS

  • Improves heat transfer efficiency
  • Improves the performance of the scale and corrosion inhibitors
  • Helps extend equipment life
  • Reduces maintenance time and costs
  • Compatible with typical HVAC recirculation pumps

APPLICATIONS
WET-3110 removes the petroleum based inhibitors that are typically used on new equipment and pipes, to prepare the metal surfaces for the water treatment inhibitors.

DOSAGE
Add 5 gal per 1000 gallon of system water. If applicable, raise the water loop temperature to about 120 oF to enhance the cleaning process. Circulate the water loop for at least 12 hours via the HVAC recirculation pumps or other compatible external pumps. When the cleaning process is completed, drain and flush the system with fresh water. Continue flushing until the final conductivity equals the fresh water conductivity.

Note: Upon completion, the corrosion inhibitor must be added immediately to prevent flash corrosion.

FEEDING
WET-3110 is non-corrosive to ordinary metals used in feeding devices. Feed WET-3110 to system with any type of by-pass feeder or proportional pump.
