DESCRIPTION
IronSolv® is a line of non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-DOT regulated products designed to remove iron deposits, carbonate imbedded iron deposits, and/or other metal oxides by chelation and deaglomeration. It is mild on metals so it can run on-line for several days without damaging the base metals. 

  • IronSolv® Regular is designed for light deposit that contains non-magnetic iron.
  • IronSolv® Plus is for heavy deposits containing both magnetic and non-magnetic iron.
  • IronSolv® Ultra is used for heavy deposits containing magnetic iron, non-magnetic iron, and carbonate.

APPLICATIONS
IronSolv® is designed to dissolve iron oxide and carbonate imbedded iron deposits found in all types of water operated equipment, such as, boilers, cooling towers including galvanized towers, closed loops, and heat exchangers.

DOSAGE
Depending on the characteristics of the deposits and the amount of cleaning time available, IronSolv® can be used at full concentration or diluted down to 5%.

The complete removal of any deposits depends on several factors such as chemical composition, age, and quantity. For these reasons it is difficult to predict exactly the cleaning time or the amount of IronSolv® needed.

Prior to discharging to a sanitary sewer (not storm sewer), the spent cleaning solution must be treated properly according to the local, state, and federal regulations. During the cleaning of any deposit, metal will be taken into the cleaning fluid. These metals may be regulated for discharge by the local EPA authorities. It is the responsibility of the user to comply with these regulations.
